In version 1.1 of BackChain, the extension now returns to the comments page of links on popular sites like Reddit and HackerNews. This enhancement provides even more convenience for users who frequently browse these platforms.
In version 1.0, the initial release of the extension, BackChain applies to all links on all pages with a different URL domain than the current page. It only creates the "Return to Source" button on pages that are opened from another domain. For example, if a user is on reddit.com and clicks a link to imgur.com, BackChain will create the button for easy navigation back to Reddit. However, if the user navigates to a different page within the same domain, such as reddit.com/news, the button will not be generated.
BackChain is a valuable tool for Chrome users who want to streamline their browsing experience and easily navigate between linked pages. The extension's simple yet effective functionality makes it a useful addition for anyone who frequently follows links from one website to another.
